I'm keen to reach out to Brits living off-the-grid in remote places. This is for some research I'm doing for a television documentary series in the UK. I'm looking for suitable stories to feature in a second Channel 4 series.
I'm not sure whether you're still in The Gambia, or whether you're back at Le Coty (or elsewhere), but I wanted to let you know that I'd love to connect if you'd be happy to discuss this further?
No pressure to be involved if this wouldn't be your thing, but maybe you'll be well placed to pass on some suggestions (other adventurous expats that you know, locations that I could explore further, local organisations, relevant articles) - it's always worth asking around when searching for rare case studies!
Three years ago I wrote this 'We are Mick (45), Jenny (44), Teo (6) and Mia (3). We are a British family who have been running a smallholding in Brittany for 9 years.' then we drove to the Gambia and stayed there ever since until this new phase.....

Many thanks for any ideas.
Kind regards,
